Malyn 122, Waterfront condo, few blocks to beach

Highly recommend! Positive: Host was very welcoming and prompt on messaging back with any questions I had. Was very clean, and well stocked! There is a wagon with ALL beach necessities including chairs and umbrella which was an absolute gameeee changer! Pool is very clean and there is a laundry facility on site. Most everything is in walking distance! We did uber over to John’s pass which was super cheap! We also had the pleasure of seeing the dolphins play right at the back dock!I will be staying here again. Very satisfied!

Overall, Malyn Resort is a cute, affordable place to spend a few nights by the water. The location is hard to beat—everything is within walking distance, including the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and other local attractions. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, but still has a fun beach-town vibe. The locals and management were friendly and welcoming. We loved that it was pet-friendly, and they were very accommodating of our dog. The itself was updated, and the bed was very comfortable. We also loved that they provided beach chairs, an umbrella, a wagon, and beach toys, which made our beach days much easier. The pool was nice, and the dock was a great place to watch the sunset.Most of my concerns were with the room itself. Based on the photos, I thought the bed was in a separate bedroom, so I was surprised to find it was actually a studio. That may have been my misunderstanding of the listing, but since we were traveling with a toddler, it would have been nice to have a separate space so we could watch TV after she went to sleep.The air conditioner is a newer wall unit, but its placement doesn't cool the room very well. Even with the ceiling fan and a floor fan running, the room stayed warmer than we would have liked. The bathroom also doesn't have an exhaust fan, so we had to open the window while showering, which made the room even hotter and made it more difficult to cool down. Also, a maintenance person came to fix the sticking door. A little inconvenient.

Quaint waterfront condo motel Positive: Great location. You can walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars. The fishing pier on the property was also nice. Negative: The property could have been cleaner. There was trash in the grass , which is also the only place to walk the dogs.
